The hidden history of our ancestor (Ghotane Gurung :~ One caste among the gurung) of Lumle village….

Lumle ” the wettest place ” of Nepal which is also known as the ” Poetry village.” Before 200 years ago as I know our ancestor had just migrated from Sikles village to Armala village and then to Lumle. According to our elder the first person came here is ” Norkhu Gurung “. This house is about 200 years old and belongs to our Late grandfather ” Mr. Ganja Sing Gurung “. At that time he was very wealthy who had” Silver Coin ” but had no any child and he used to distribute it to all the villagers through the help of nepali ancient measuring system ” Mana Pathi “. Once upon a time he had just organized a religious ceremony called ” Sabda” in nepali. On the occasion he had feed food to all the villagers as well as the traveler on the way. And there is a story that two villagers had vanished from the village. Nobody knows where they had gone and now also there is a historical piece of proof ” a stone ” in the middle of ” Bari ” (a corn field) which is also known as ” Dhunga ko Chauko ” in nepali. After his death his all property was distributed among his brother sons. I had renovate this house as a home stay in ” 2019 Dec 15 “
